Illustrated scarves
Scarves are a big part of my work, and my interest for textiles and print design is something that has been present from the very beginning of my illustration career. Each scarf is more than a nice design, it is a handmade little treasure you’ll want to keep forever.
The story
Nanaimo Estudio is the name of the brand of scarves and textiles accessories I founded in 2019 in Chile, after a period of 2 years living in Canada. It was a long process and had to do a lot of research before selling my first scarf, but it was totally worth it.
Handmade and local
All Nanaimo Estudio scarves are printed and handmade in small batches in Chile, and most of the fabrics we use are made from recycled plastic bottles.
Everyday accessories
Each scarf design represents a concept or story told through delightful and colourful hand painted illustrations. Our themes include cats, dogs, forests, motherhood, fruits, and zodiac signs among others.
